A few quick questions about overclocking.
(Just ordered an i5 760 and a Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3. I want to know if I have the process understood correctly)
1. I should build the computer completely first, install Windows 7, and run some programs/games to make sure everything works fine.
2. I should have this guide open on another computer/laptop.
3. I should restart the computer while mashing Delete to get into bios.
4. I then slowly change the settings in bios. (Is there a save function automatically?) Each time I go back into windows and monitor the temperature while running a test program. If everything's fine, I restart the computer to overclock even more.
5. Repeat steps 3-4. (How many restarts is average? 20? 10?
6. I come back to overclockers.com to give everyone a hug. |
